The cutting edge scientists are those with their right-brain activated enough to see what people call the ‘bigger picture’, as opposed to seeing, in isolation, the piece that goes in the bottom left.

But cutting edge people in general go even further with their right and left brains open to all possibility and to the consciousness that lies beyond the perception of brain and body. From this perspective you don’t just deal in electrons, neutrons, protons and quarks, but in the majesty and magnificence of reality as a whole.

Hawking and Mlodinow conclude that there are many universes – or multiverses – hence the headline in the magazine about the ‘end of the universe’. The end of the idea of a single universe.

But to anyone with their right brain open this was always a gimme, anyway, and nothing new or revelatory at all. Of course, there is not only one Universe or one reality. Within infinite consciousness, something the right brain and heart feel and know, let alone believe to exist, the idea of a single universe is hilarious.

I smile when I see scientists make great announcements about discoveries that were long known by the ancients and those with their minds open to consciousness. The Zulu people in South Africa have words for time and space that are virtually identical because they knew long ago that time and space were fundamentally connected.

How can anyone understand reality when they look at the world like this?

Their comments came after the European Commission reconfirmed this week that it believed meat, milk, cheese or any other product from the offspring of a cloned animal was perfectly legitimate and needed no special licence to be sold. This position puts Europe at direct loggerheads with the Food Standards Agency, whose board is meeting next week to discuss cloned animals.'

'George Osborne, the Chancellor, said that the Government will go further than previously announced in trying to bring down the cost of Britain’s social security system. The promise of new welfare cuts has caused strain in the Coalition, with some Liberal Democrat MPs protesting against the move.

Mr Osborne said the welfare system had grown out of control and allowed some people to make the “lifestyle choice” of claiming benefits for their entire life instead of working.'

You are opposed to covering up the rape of children. You are opposed to telling Africans that condoms "increase the problem" of HIV/Aids. You are opposed to labelling gay people "evil". The vast majority of you, if you witnessed any of these acts, would be disgusted, and speak out. Yet over the next fortnight, many of you will nonetheless turn out to cheer for a Pope who has unrepentantly done all these things.

I believe you are much better people than this man. It is my conviction that if you impartially review the evidence of the suffering he has inflicted on your fellow Catholics, you will stand in solidarity with them – and join the protesters.'

'The swine flu fiasco has cost taxpayers more than £200million for unused drugs, it emerged last night. Surplus jabs cost £128million after the last Labour government bungled the order. And £73million of anti-viral treatments were binned after it emerged they may have been stored wrongly. Normally these pills can be stored and used to treat different flu viruses.

The Department of Health failed to negotiate a clause over unused drugs when buying jabs. But fewer than 500 people died from swine flu and under five million took the jab.'

'The official report by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) relating to the two planes that crashed into WTC on September 11, 2001 shows that they were traveling at a speed of 945 km/h and 796 km/h respectively.

Pilots for 9/11 Truth, an international organization of pilots and aviation professionals, has pointed out that, according to the manufacturer, the Boeing 767 develops structural failure and dismembers at a speed surpassing 660 km/h when flying at near sea level in thick air. This has also been certified by a former senior NASA executive, Dwain Deets.'
