This video is from 1987 and starts with a breakdown of the events that led to the Iran/Contra affair. Mr. Moyers then traces the development of the "secret government" from its origins in 1947 with the national security act. The secret government, according to Bill Moyers, are the small groups of people within the government, protected by secrecy and are unaccountable to any constitutional oversight.

Mr. Moyers is very prescient in his prediction that if this government was allowed to persist, it would become more and more sophisticated to the point where it would become out of control. This conclusion is supported by the historical accounts of the actions of the secret government and the increasingly spare amounts of information that these cladestine organizations produce.

From the early 1950s to 1987, the secret government and its wing the CIA have committed atrocity after atrocity all in the name of ideology. These atrocities have increased in magnitude until at the time of this video, you have the US government supporting death squads in Central America and tens of thousands of innocent peasents are being massacred with US taxpayer dollars.

So, where are we 20 years later? Where are we when invite many of the same men that controlled the cabal that supported the death squads to run the highest levels of over government? Where are we when the President himself declares that the Constitution is "just a god damned peice of paper?"

And what now could this now highly sophisticated and insulated secret government do?

Light Winning

Yeah this is a good video twenty years too late. That it speaks of revelations is sad indeed. I suppose I am to be forgiven as I was not so precocious that I was on top of this when I was eight. since then I have sadly caught up. But I didn't know that there were these resources back then in mainstream media....that is IF this was a PBS carried piece. IF it was it begs a GLARING question; WHY?

Well let me give you my thoughts. The thing that pissed me off more than Oliver North (and I remember the highlights as I watched the news intently back then....Mnemosyne is an odd mistress)[AND Sean Hannity Claiming this FUCK is a national treasure and having him guest host and talk about patriotism] was John Kerry playing the antithesis word smithing everything in such a manner that you feel indignant. Hegel is on it when it comes to these guys, they all play for the same team. Even Moyers. That is why I have become convinced that there will be a revolution in this country prodded by those we hope to free ourselves from. They then will control the leaders and tighten the stranglehold. This is not what people want to hear. They want to think this all started back with Kennedy or WWII or WWI. no

This spider weaves a web more complex than we are equipped to mentally cope with...centuries are nothing to these people....it wont likely happen in our lifetime lest, in the words of Prospero, "Too light winning make the prize light." this is a game of erosion and indoctrination. A thought game I like to play is that of my great grandmother who was born before the advent or proliferation of the automobile. She lived to see the obsolescence of animal drawn locomotion to the birth of flight, space flight, personal computers and the hiccups of the internet. this is in 100 years...Think of what must be in effect to affect us in this way. in short there are three viable alternatives which I am loath to produce here so I wont.

just know these people know their game and we do not. To truly understand the scope of this one must be a renaissance man....a beast which sadly is an endangered species.

The time of these things is different than ours...Hawking lost his bet to Kip Thorne...what do you bet on?
