Prescott Sheldon Bush: Merchant of Death

On a desolately still Oklahoma night, May 1918: "The ring of pick on stone and thud of earth on earth alone disturbs the peace of the prairie"(Tarpley 1991, Ch. I). Six young patrician army captains begrimed with the toil of their labor finally hit pay dirt. An elation washes over the young grave robbers as they rush to pry open the iron door of the tomb. Ravishing the remains the young cabal finally finds its treasure; a human skull, "fairly clean, having only some flesh inside and a little hair"(Tarpley 1991, Ch. I). Hastily re-interning what is left of the bespoiled corpse the sextet returns triumphantly home to with their ill begotten trophy, placing it in a display case in the entrance to their own ivy enshrouded tomb… on High Street New Haven, Connecticut on the campus of Yale University.

This desecration of the burial site of one of the last great Native American Heroes effectively sounds a war cry, beginning the tale of a family's ascent into the upper echelons of the modern American oligarchy. A family obsessed with secrecy, death, money, and power which, in three generations and in three men boasts quite a curriculum vitae: an ambassador to the UN, a CIA Director, a congressman, a Senator, a Governor, a Vice President, and two US Presidents. This is not to mention a drug addict, a eugenics bankroller, and one of Adolph Hitler's financers in America.

Prescott Sheldon Bush, the Father of the 41st president of the United States as well as the grandfather of the 43rd, was born to Buckeye Steel Castings President Samuel Prescott Bush and his wife Flora (Sheldon) Bush on the 15th day of May 1885 under a Taurean sun. Prescott's Father, the son of an Episcopalian minister, had started the Bush family fortunes and more importantly made inroads towards establishing the line in the glorious war profiteering days before, during, and after World War I.

The First World War was a horrible atrocity for the majority of mankind, yet for a minute portion of the population, it was a windfall of economic growth and a skyrocket to the top of the feeding chain of the nouveau American elite. As Phillips succinctly explains:

"Some scholars of the U.S. military-industrial complex date its origins back to the construction of a large steel-clad navy in the 1880's and 1890, which made serious demands on government spending, heavy industry, and metallurgy. Most agree that the future complex took definable shape during the First World War, even though the disarmament treaties of the 1920's and neutrality sentiments of the 1930's kept military outlays too low to sustain preparedness until rearmament began in 1939-40. After Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941,many who had cut their teeth during the 1917-18 mobilization were given much larger war-related responsibilities, cementing earlier elite credentials" (Phillips 2004, p.33).

After the war a committee headed by Senator Gerald Nye investigated the business dealings of the so-called 'Merchants of Death' such as the Rockefeller's Remington Arms and Standard Oil companies. The business practices of companies such as this was basically to arm both sides in any given conflict and then to escalate the altercation into a war and then sit back and count their profits as the hoi polloi lost count of their mass buried dead.

Samuel Bush the great grandfather of George W. Bush worked with these "Merchants of Death" first as chief of the Ordinance, Small Arms and Ammunition where he oversaw the production and acquisition of small arms, ammunition, and forging guns. Samuel later went on to head of the Facilities Division of the War Industries Board in 1918. It was this post, which placed Samuel in an excellent position to rub shoulders and gain favors from the elite, which included Percy Rockefeller of Remington Arms Corporation, and other top executives from firms such as Winchester, Colt Arms, Du Pont etc. These connections later led to a post as the director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland (which incidentally is neither federally owned nor a reserve) and the first presidency of the National Association of Manufacturers. These posts effectively placed the Bushes hands not just in the piggy bank, but also on the presses that print the money that goes into them.

During the war Samuel worked under Bernard Beruch who ran the War Industries Board. Beruch had ties through his investment firm to E.H. Harriman. It was this shoulder that turned out to be the most fortuitous for Samuel to rub up against; as eventually the Harrimans would help the Bushes launch their family higher into the upper echelon of America's Eastern Establishment elite. It was this cadre of "Merchants of Death", which would pave the road with gold to the transformation of America into a fascist national security state a process that Dwight D. Eisenhower prophetically warned of in his January 17th 1961 farewell address:

"Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.

This conjunction of an immense Military Establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -economic, political, even spiritual - is felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the Federal Government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

In the councils of government we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exits and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together" (Eisenhower 1961).

Prescott entered Yale University in 1913 the second Bush to do so, the first being first being Prescott's grandfather Episcopalian minister James Smith Bush. At Yale Prescott excelled in athletics as captain of the baseball team and polished his golf game which would later put him on the "in" with Eisenhower and Nixon. Prescott also showed a propensity for song, which he expressed in Yale's famous Wiffenpoofs, the worlds oldest collegiate a cappella group founded in 1909 which has, since its inception, been an important aspect of male bonding at the college. The affinity for song lasted with Prescott throughout his life and even showed up on the campaign trail as the Wiffenpoofs helped Prescott in his first senate campaign.

Most importantly, at Yale Prescott proved himself quite the net-worker, attaining a high profile through his charisma inspired by his good looks and efficacious usage of his amiable demeanor. These qualities coupled with his athletic prowess and ear for a tune proved to be the cinching point when, at the end of Prescott's junior year in 1916, he, along with E. Roland Harriman (a scion of the family, which would become the Bush Family sponsors into the realms of the global elite) was "tapped" to be an initiate into Yale's most secretive and elite secret society, the Order of Skull and Bones. "This unusually morbid, death-celebration group helped wall street financiers find active young men of 'good birth' to form a kind of imitation British aristocracy in America"(Tarpley 1991, Ch. I).

It is this initiation, which constituted a sort of threshold event for the Bushes. On the one hand they were forging ironclad bonds with scions of very wealthy families, and on the other they were learning the ropes of esotericism and the age-old trade of skullduggery. Yale's connection (particularly its secret society network), with the intelligence sectors of government is a marriage of longstanding repute.

The relationship between Yale and the CIA is hard to overstate. America's first spy, Nathan Hale, was Yale class of 1773. Washington's later spymaster, dragoon major Benjamin Tallmadge, had been Hale's roommate. The statue of Hale in front of the CIA was cast from the original that stands in front of Yale's Connecticut Hall. Whereas other intelligence headquarters were called the fort, base, post, or station, the CIA's setup at Langley, Virginia, was named "the campus"(Phillips 2004 pp. 200-201).

As we shall see the Bush family's biographies have many concurrent themes such as trading with the enemy: Samuel P. Bush did business with men who got rich off of supplying the Kaiser's German war machine. These connections prepared a network for Prescott who helped fund Adolph Hitler's Nazi Germany regardless of the passage of the Trading with the Enemy Act and the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor. These sympathies and the loot plundered on the backs of those Auschwitz slaves strong enough to avoid the gas chambers paved the way for the family's first President George H.W. Bush who would eventually find it necessary to fire seven members of his campaign reelection team because of a leak that exposed fundraising catering to moneyed eastern European US communities with anti-Semitic, Nazi, and fascist sympathies under the Guise of the Republican Party's "ethnic heritage groups". In fact, when George Herbert Walker Bush became president he chose a man, who held secrets very similar to his, to manage the blind trust that every president must place their business holdings in order to avert any claims of conflict of interest. William Stamps Farish III, one of the wealthiest men in Texas loved secrecy just as much as the Bush clan. The Skeletons in Farish's closet were of the same breed as Bush's. In 1942 Farish's grandfather had been forced to plead no contest to charges of criminal conspiracy with the Nazi's for his role as the manager of a cartel between I.G. Farben and Standard Oil, which helped Hitler build the concentration camp, Auschwitz. It was this same camp where Bush's UBC would also profit off of slave labor. It was only by some act of a god (rather a devil) or skullduggery that the Bushes sidestepped a similar fate. It is no wonder Bush picked Farish, a man who kept his mouth shut and who did business just the way he liked it, with Nazis.

Another ploy used often by the Bush junta is the obfuscation of their history through various means, ranging from political spin and cover-up to destruction of evidence and the disappearances of people who know too much. As the authors Webster G. Tarpley and Anton Chaitkin, succinctly note:

Most of the records and correspondence of Samuel Bush's arms-related section of the government have been burned, "to save space" in the National Archives. This matter of destroyed or misplaced record should be of concern to citizens of a constitutional republic. Unfortunately, it is a rather constant impediment with regard to researching George Bush's background: He is certainly the most "covert" American chief executive"(Tarpley 1991, Ch. I).

This type of activity is the norm with initiates obsessed with secrecy. A brief illustration from the much-maligned Freemasons well illustrates the importance of keeping your lips sealed within the environs of such cabals. The following is a poignant part of the oath purportedly sworn by the candidate during the initiation ceremony of the Entered Apprentice (or "first degree"):

All this I most solemnly, sincerely promise and swear, with a firm and steadfast resolution to perform the same, without any mental reservation or secret evasion of mind whatever, binding my self under no less penalty than of having my throat cut across, my tongue torn out by it's roots, and my body buried in the rough sands of the sea, at low-water mark, where the tide ebbs a flows twice in twenty four hours, should I ever knowingly violate this my entered apprentice obligation. So help me God, and keep me steadfast in the due performance of the same (Duncan 1980, p. 35).

This is only the "first pledge" taken by a Freemason, with each degree come a heftier punishment for oath breakers. One can only venture to guess the myriad of oaths the Bushes have taken, to whom, and just exactly what the fidelity of those oaths are rewarded with.

While daddy was busy creating a Nazi network, Prescott was off starting a few Bush family traditions; serving the intelligence community and lying, misleading, and covering up his military career. Prescott joined the U.S. Army and was sent to Europe where he "served as an army intelligence operative"(Vankin 1995, p. 335). "On August 8th 1918 the following item appeared on the front page of Bush's home-town newspaper:

For Notable Gallantry, When Leading Allied Commanders Were Endangered, Local Man is Awarded French, English and U.S. Crosses.

Bush was reported to have been awarded the, Cross-of the Legion of Honor, Victoria Cross, and Distinguished Service Cross. The incident is supposed to have happened on July 15th while the Germans were on the offensive:

In what most certainly must have constituted a practical joke gone too far, the article goes on to explain Prescott's superhuman feat:

The ... three allied leaders, Gen. [Ferdinand] Foch, Sir Douglas Haig and Gen. [John J.] Pershing ... were making an inspection of American positions. Gen. Pershing had sent for Captain Bush to guide them about one sector.... Suddenly Captain Bush noticed a shell coming directly for them. He shouted a warning, suddenly drew his bolo knife, stuck it up as he would a ball bat, and parried the blow, causing the shell to glance off to the right.... "(Tarpley 1991, Ch. I).

The only impediment to Prescott's rise to war hero were the ontically observable facts. Prescott's division didn't come under fire until September! The humiliation of the situation was revealed to the local paper by Prescott's mother Flora:

A cable received from my son, Prescott S. Bush, brings word that he has not been decorated, as published in the papers a month ago. He feels dreadfully troubled that a letter, written in a spirit of fun, should have been misinterpreted. He says he is no hero and asks me to make explanations. I will appreciate your kindness in publishing this letter....

Even if the letter had been written in a humorous light it was obviously in poor taste as his mother believed the fabrication and was then made to swallow her pride and tell the whole town that her son was not a gloriously decorated hero, but a base and ignoble liar. Interestingly enough it was just this type of humor the OSS was looking for in young recruits, as Kevin Phillips opines:

In Cloak and Gown, Robin Winks described how the OSS and the CIA took from the Ivy League not just elitism or a penchant for academic studies but a sense of prankishness: "Put itching powder into safes, soon to be delivered to the Germans, so that file clerks would be discomforted? Parachute drop thousands of pornographic pamphlets onto the grounds at Berchtesgarten so that Hitler might be driven mad with sexual desire?…Invent exploding donkey turds that could be mixed with the real thing on the roads of Morocco. (Phillips 2004 pp. 200-201)

It is almost certain that sometime during the years he spent at Yale, Skull and Bones and in the Army, in context with his close proximity to the Harriman's, that Prescott forged the Bush family connections with the intelligence network, which his son would eventually head. In fact Phillips quotes author John Luftus who himself cites anonymous intelligence interviews that in fact; "Prescott himself had served in military intelligence during World War One, liaising with the British. According to our sources, he was trained by Stewart Menzies, later head of the British secret service during World War Two"(Phillips 2004, p. 198). This assertion makes obvious sense when one takes into account the fact the Prescott's father was in a position of relative importance in the nascent US wing of the military industrial intelligence complex.

To avoid the humiliation of bolo knife incident Prescott took a job in St. Louis from fellow Bonesman, Wallace Simpson. It was during this time that Prescott met and married the competitively driven Dorothy Walker, the daughter of George Herbert Walker, who was making quite a name for himself as a preeminent power broker. Walker quickly became something of a second father to Prescott, who saw in his future son-in-law something of himself. The marriage took place in August of 1921 and according to Russell S. Bowen: "Half of the 11 'ushers and groomsman' in attendance at the wedding were Bush's fellow Skull and Bonesman from 1917"(Bowen 1991, p.8). It would not be until June 12th, 1924 that the couple had their first child who was destined to become the 41st president of the United States of America.

Walker's star had been on the rise after the treaty of Versailles had opened the floodgates for the rivers of greed pouring forth from the imperialistic British and American investors. Whereas Samuel and Prescott unarguably gave the Bush line their skill at diplomacy deal making, and successful public careers, Walker, who at the end of the 1920's was a director of seventeen corporations, brought the business acumen, cutthroat piracy, and majority of financial assistance, to the family genes. This inner family disparity was so blatant that:

even after Prescott and Dorothy Bush had been married for almost two decades, the title to the big house on Grove Lane was in the name of Dorothy Walker Bush. Only in 1981, when George H.W. Bush became vice resident, did the Walkers, prompted by the security-minded invasiveness of the Secret Service, suggest that he purchase and move into the big family house on Walker's point in Kennebunkport. One can easily imagine this longtime economic subordination spurring a compensating Bush drive for office and political power" (Phillips 2004, p.25)

At this time, Averill Harriman was looking to get in on the feeding frenzy and attempting a bit of damage control after having his father publicly chastised by Teddy Roosevelt for being an "undesirable citizen" due to his "cynicism and deep-seated corruption" (Bowen 1991, p.7). Harriman brought Walker on board to help create and become president, co- owner, and C.E.O of privately held, W.A. Harriman & Co.

Prescott's Skull and Bones crony, E. Roland Harriman (Averill's younger brother) helped out Bush in this period by giving him a job at the Harriman-connected U.S. Rubber Co. in New York. This was to mark one in a long string of helping hands the Harrimans have extended to the Bushes. Prescott would in time be hired by his father-in-law to oversee a new nefarious aspect of W.A. Harriman & Co, the infamous Union Banking Corporation. Eventually Prescott clawed his way into to running most of the basic operations of the bank as his father in law, who had a penchant for sports betting (the Walker cup is named after him) schmoozed in the gambling scene of prohibition era New York.

In 1931 W.A. Harriman and Co. Merged with Brown Brothers to form the economic and political juggernaut Brown Brothers Harriman, a merger which left Prescott Bush with the role of managing partner.

Unfortunately for the nascent power broker, the great depression destroyed Prescott's personal nest egg, "but because of his devotion to the Harriman's, they 'did a very generous thing' as Bush later put it. They staked him to what he had lost and put him back on his feet" (Tarpley 1991, Ch. I). As we have seen Bush's Fellow 1917 Bonesman E. Roland Harriman and his older brother W. Averill Harriman (1913 Bonesman) offered Prescott a helping hand often in his struggle towards the top of the pecking order. This sponsorship has linked the Bush and Harriman clans ever since.

Forgive what you do…

We now come to one of the more salacious tidbits of our tale thus far. A story, which has been avoided by all major media, sources like a hybrid of the bubonic plague and the Ebola Virus, namely: the connection between the 20th century's most infamous madman and one of America's most beloved political dynasties, the Bush family and it's fortune and Adolph Hitler's and his quest for genocidal world domination.

Fritz Thyssen, eldest son of the "Rockefeller of the Rurh", August Thyssen is remembered in the annals of accepted history as Adolph Hitler's most important financier, bankrolling the Nazi party from a very early stage right up until the end. Thyssen recounts in his autobiography, I Paid Hitler: "at the time of the Armistice and the signing of the treaty of Versailles, my father and I were deeply saddened by the spectacle of Germany's abject humiliation"(Rogers 2003). The personage of Adolph Hitler consoled this deep felt humiliation shared by many other Germans. Thyssen found himself inspired by Hitler's mesmerizing orations and quickly began to fund the nascent Nazi party. Thyssen instantly ingratiated himself with Hitler when he put up the funds to purchase and renovate the Barlow Palace in Munich, which Hitler planned to be the headquarters of the National Socialists party.

This newfound friendship came in handy for Hitler when he decided that the German military was in need of a major upgrade. "Hitler ordered a 'rebirth of the German army' and contracted Thyssen and United Steel Works for the overhaul. Thyssen's empire was the cold steel heart of the new Nazi war machine that led the way to World War II, killing millions across Europe"(Rogers 2003). It must be remembered that this steel would not be strong enough for these uses without the manganese which Harriman's Georgian Manganese Company was busy extracting in the antithesis to World War II Germany: Russia

According to government research conducted under the "Trading With The Enemy Act" just one of the Thyssen interests, the Vereinigte Stahlwerke, was found to have approximately produced:

* 50.8% of Nazi Germany's pig iron;
* 41.4% of Nazi Germany's universal plate;
* 36.0% of Nazi Germany's heavy plate;
* 38.5% of Nazi Germany's galvanized sheet;
* 45.5% of Nazi Germany's pipes and tubes;
* 22.1% of Nazi Germany's wire;
* 35.0% of Nazi Germany's explosives (Tarpley 1991, ch. II).

To help fund these operations Thyssen needed an American branch of his Bank voor Handel en Scheepvart (BHS). In 1924, Thyssen sent a representative to meet with George Walker and the Harriman Brothers. It was later that year that the two sides established the Union Banking Corporation, housed at the same location of W.A. Harriman & Co. It was at this point that George Walker, "A charismatic former heavyweight boxing champion" described as a "human pit bull", decided to give his son-in-law a break and hired him as Vice President of W.A. Harriman & Co to help him oversee the new United Steel Works of Thyssen and Friedrich Flick another financer/industrialist who was member of Himmler's inner circle and a major contributor to the Nazi cause. Flick would eventually be tried, convicted, and sentenced to but seven years during the Nuremburg trials for his funding and support of the Nazis and use of slave laborers from concentration camps, a sentence of which he served only three, passing away many years later as a billionaire with all of the ill begotten loot probably lining his mattress.

Thyssen's BHS was intricately connected to the Union Banking Corporation. Government investigators working under the aegis of the "Trading with the Enemy Act" concluded "the Union Banking Corporation has since its inception handled funds chiefly supplied to it through the Dutch bank by the Thyssen interests for American investment"(Tarpley 1991, ch. II).

From this position Bush was to have his hands in the acquisition of the Hamburg Amerika line, the takeover of which was accomplished by the procurement of the line's commercial steamers after World War I from the U.S. The deal was never aloud to see the light of day from the dark smoky rooms in which it was forged. Tarpley and Chaitkin report it was through the usage of this line that:

According to testimony of officials of the companies before Congress in 1934, a supervisor from the Nazi Labor Front rode with every ship of the Harriman-Bush line; employees of the New York offices were directly organized into the Nazi Labor Front organization; Hamburg-Amerika provided free passage to individuals going abroad for Nazi propaganda purposes; and the line subsidized pro-Nazi newspapers in the U.S.A., as it had done in Germany against the constitutional German government (Tarpley 1991, Ch. II).

After the First World War, in which it provided almost 70 percent of the rifles used by the US, Remington lost a rather large contract to the new Russian Revolutionary Army, which forced it restructure its organization and look towards new avenues of revenue e.g. chaotic postwar Germany and its fledgling National Socialist Party. Leading the way in this reorganization was none other than Samuel Pryor who, among other infamous deeds not only helped arrange the takeover of the Hamburg-Amerika line, he also played a key role in another of the Walker/Harriman/Bush schemes; as the original director of UBC!

Another mover in Remington's reorganization was Percy Rockefeller and his National City Bank who had helped set up W.A. Harriman and Company, needles to say he got in on the feeding frenzy to such an extent that: "National City Bank and Brown Brothers Harriman, according to several chroniclers, during the late 1930's used an agent named Henry Mann -well enough connected to meet several times with Hitler- to bring Third Reich deals back for New York decision makers"(Phillips 2004, p.262).

IT doesn't take a genius to connect the dots from Hitler or his sympathizers bank accounts, to Thyssen or Mann who transfer it to UBC (Walker/Harriman/Bush) in America where Pryor is at the Helm early on, the funds are then transferred to Remington's bank of choice (National City Bank?), The rifles are then produced and shipped across the Atlantic aboard the (Walker/Harriman/Bush) Hamburg-Amerika line (Perhaps oversaw by a returning Nazi on a propaganda mission if not Prescott himself), and Presto! Hitler is off and running taking control of Germany and rearming the antithesis of all antitheses; the Nazis.

Another damning piece to the dialectic puzzle was one of the Thyssen concerns handled by the UBC, Consolidated Silesian Steel Corporation, which was located near Oswiecim in Poland. It was in Oswicim that Hitler built the Auschwitz concentration camp with the Ominous Arbeit Macht Frei (Labor Liberates) looming over the entrance. One of the reasons the location of the camp was selected was its close proximity to the coalmines owned by Thyssen.

Perhaps the sign above the entrance of the camp was speaking to the Thyssen, Walker/Bush, and Harriman clans, for through the hell that was the Nazi death camps they received free labor, which left them liberated to play tennis at their all-white country clubs, sipping martinis as millions were gassed and worked to death. Hitler originally planned to use Soviet criminals in the work camps, but when that idea fell through, the Nazis filled the camps with gypsies, Jews, communists, homosexuals, Freemasons, and anyone else on Hitler's extirpation lists. "The prisoners of Auschwitz who were able to work were shipped to 30 different companies. One of the companies was the vast Consolidated Silesia Steel Corporation." (Rogers 2003)

As Thyssen became uneasy with Hitler's methods, he eventually sold Consolidated Steel to the UBC junta who had no moral misgivings about Hitler's regime. Under UBC the company was renamed "Silesian American Corporation". Management of the newly labeled corporation fell to none other than Bonesman Prescott Bush. According to Toby Rogers of globalresearch.ca who cites a Dutch intelligence report:

A portion of the slave labor force in Poland was "managed by Prescott Bush," according to a Dutch intelligence agent. In 1941, slave labor had become the lifeblood of the Nazi war machine. The resources of Poland's rich steel and coal field played an essential part in Hitler's invasion of Europe.(Rogers 2003)

Needless to say after Pearl Harbor these kinds of business practices were frowned upon, and in fact, six days after that infamous day, President Roosevelt signed the "Trading with the Enemy Act" effectively banning business between US companies and enemies of war. Unfazed future senator Prescott Bush proceeded with business as usual funding a regime, which had become synonymous with evil, providing the implements of war that would kill and maim his future constituents, eradicate 6 million Jews, and leave an enduring scar on the very soul of humanity.

To aid an avowed wartime enemy constitutes treason which any soldier would be court marshalled and imprisoned for, if not having his neck stretched upon the guillotine. Sadly this was not the extent of the offence. To actually manage or oversee "a portion of the slave labor force", drawn from those who narrowly escaped the holocaust ovens of Auschwitz is a damnable offence. To work these slaves for your profit until they become too weak and then to lead them to the gas chambers as useless cattle constitutes the most heinous of offences against our very species, and is deemed unethical by every viable philosophy. Yet Prescott and all subsequent Bushes who followed him were invariably at heart ethical egoists, and at business, limited Utilitarians. Which is to say, if it helps me or mine, I will use, abuse, and kill slaves. That this is not the end of the Bush family skulduggery is lamentable, it is simply the beginning of a tale which may find its ultimate resolution on the battlegrounds of World War III.

Who do you think will profit from that eschatological wet dream?

It will become readily apparent as the Bush family tale unfolds just what their philosophy entails. These elite families believe themselves to be far more than elite, they truly deem themselves superhuman, evolved, and enlightened, that's why they inbreed as they do, to keep the race pure, just as Hitler envisioned. In fact it was whispered among the Houston elite that George W. Bush, Prescott's Grandson, was forced to break off his engagement with his college sweet heart because the girl came from a Jewish "merchant" family, an event which placed the youth in a tailspin towards the gutter.

The Bushes have their family war chests soaked in the blood of the innocent, their scions are anointed with the vanquishing of the under populace as a sort of initiatory rite. In their eyes the rest of humanity dances a spectrum between becoming nothing but a number on a chequer, an asset, easily controlled, to becoming a recalcitrant beast, a liability, a hindrance to total domination best mercilessly ground under foot.

Finally, the US Government stepped in, seizing UBC and other Bush-Thyssen-Harriman ventures. Yet in a foreshadowing of events to come, the media aided Bush in covering up this travesty! "The New York Times reported on December 16th, 1944 in a brief story on page 25, that UBC had 'received authority to change its principal place of business to 120 Broadway'"(Buchanan 2003), This is newspeak for: "UBC Seized by Office of Property Custodian under The Trading with the Enemy Act: Walker, Harriman, and Bush Murderous Nazi Traders!" Harriman and Bush each settled with the US government for $1.5 million dollars in cash a piece instead of going to the Nuremburg Trials and being convicted of a lenient seven years, as had their co-conspirator Fredrick Flick who despite the sentence died a billionaire. This little chunk of Nazi gold along with whatever profits they made before the seizure was to help build a nest egg for little Poppy (George Herbert Walker Bush) in the form of a firm called Overby Development Company, the funds of which would aid him in his successful bid for the presidency in 1989.

Hitler rose to power renouncing the debt incurred by the reparations demanded by the treaty of Versailles after First World War. As soon as Hitler became the Furor, the strangle hold was released by sympathetic global financiers, an act without which the Third Reich would have been died in childbed.

It is important to keep in mind that Hitler's Germany couldn't wage a war against the world without a legion of financiers, industrialists, wealthy patrons, and scientists loyal to his cause, men to produce the tanks, bombs, and the ovens, which disposed of the corpses and their unrealized dreams. Hitler in effect needed the permission of the elite (many of whom were initiates of the Order of Skull & Bones) who control major companies like I.G. Farben, Ford, UBC, IBM, Standard Oil, Remington Arms, Draper Industries, Kuhn and Loeb…ad infinitum… without which the Nazis (whose elite officers also wore the Skull & Bones) would have no army to lead and no scientists to genetically experiment on concentration camp prisoners, and no chance to cast a permanent pall upon the soul of humanity.

Bob Dylan, "the poet laureate of rock and roll" was speaking to men like Prescott Bush and his fellow conspirators when he asked the question the rest of humanity should have been asking the last century if not millennium:

In the nascent years of the cold war following WWII, Prescott Became Harriman's go-to guy in the New York financial world. As Averill's star rose so too did Prescott's. Harriman bounced around from job to job, from Ambassador to Moscow negotiating between the British, Russians, and Americans to stop the Nazis he was funding during the war; to US Ambassador to Britain in 1946 and aiding in the restructuring of the national security apparatus which led to the creation of the CIA; to Secretary of Commerce under Harry Truman. At this point the Harriman regime was poised to take the reigns of the post war intelligence sector of the US, yet president Truman, frowned upon the cloak-and-dagger type of business Harriman was involved with which necessitated the buying and installation of a few more allies in Washington, DC.

At this point, in 1950, the Bush Family entered the American political landscape as Prescott made his first attempt at the Senate in Connecticut for a two-year term on a seat that had been left vacant the resignation of Raymond E. Baldwin who left to take a seat on the Connecticut Supreme court. His opponent was William Benton the publisher and chairman of the board of Encyclopedia Britannica.

Benton was also active in the organization of the UN. Unfortunately Prescott's past and philosophical ideals had not had a sufficient amount of time to settle and be covered up. Prescott's connection with the eugenics movement, which inspired Hitler, eventually came to public attention and cost him the election to
Benton.

This loss steeled the resolve of the Bush patriarch, who determined to win his next election whether the voters voted for him or not, a sentiment would reverberate down through the political careers of his descendants.

The second time Prescott ran for office was just two years later due to the death of Connecticut's 48 year old senior senator, James O'Brien McMahon, also known as "Brien McMahon" who had been Assistant US Attorney General in charge of the criminal division from 1935-1939, which were key years for UBC and its Thyssen Hitler connection. McMahon was also running for president at this time until it was discovered that he was terminally ill with cancer. Despite McMahon's condition, at the Democratic National Convention, the delegates from the state of Connecticut unanimously nominated McMahon as their choice for President of the United States. The morning after the convention McMahon fell into a coma and soon thereafter passed away. McMahon's death, therefore was advantageous insofar as it silenced a potential whistleblower and left vacant a senatorial seat which, through a loophole, would retain its seniority, not to mention narrowing the field of opponents for Bush's golfing buddy Dwight D Eisenhower. Prescott at this time had been a national voice in an attempt to elect Eisenhower to the presidency. Ike was also a perfect choice for the Harriman clan since he was likely to look the other way as they continued on with their shadowy intelligence dealings. Eisenhower's lingering wartime popularity swept him into office and, on his coattails, Prescott Sheldon Bush, who instantly became Connecticut's senior senator.

It was during this time that Eisenhower placed the Dulles brothers into power. John Foster Dulles was made Secretary of State and the head of the CIA was given to Allen Dulles, Both of these brothers had been lawyers in charge of covering up any and all improprieties that arose in the Harriman Empire. For example, John Foster Dulles was brought in to bail out Silesian Coal and Steel Company, which was using slave labor from Auschwitz, when the Polish Government demanded the company, which "accounted for over 45% of Poland's steel production, pay at least its full share of back taxes" (Rogers 2003). Not only did this company not want to pay its workers, it also tried to skirt its tax obligations. Bush family business associate Adolph Hitler ultimately settled this dispute when he invaded Poland and effectively ended any tax disputes with his cronies.

Prescott was eventually placed on the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he worked hand in hand with the Dulles brothers and had access to the national security apparatus at a decision making level, the posting further facilitated the Bush family's entrance into the American intelligence complex, a process which began as:

"Quite literally, Prescott Bush spent the first two decades of his financial career in the company of people whose actions and ideas would shape the War Department. The OSS, the CIA, and other pivots of the emerging U.S. national security complex. A British writer, Godfrey Hodgson, has pointed out that 'the War Department was directed by a tiny clique of wealthy republicans, and one that was almost as narrowly based, in social and educational terms, as a traditional British Tory Cabinet.' The importance of these connections is almost as neglected as the family links to the arms trade"(Phillips 2004, p.185) Being a "Democrat", Averill Harriman held no post in the Eisenhower administration. Yet as Tarpley succinctly put it: "he was perhaps more than anyone the leader and the glue for the incredible evil that was hatched by the CIA in the final Eisenhower years: a half-public, half-private Harrimanite army, never since demobilized, and increasingly associated with the name of Bush"(Tarpley 1991, ch.IV) It is also important to remember the process of Hegel's dialectic when one sees such ostensive polarities as democrats and republicans preceding the names of Skull and Bones initiates.

After Prescott served his two terms as Senator, which carried him through all the Eisenhower years and the assassination of JFK, he returned once again to Brown Brothers Harriman where he co-founded the National Strategy Information Center in 1962, which circulated CIA-authored propaganda stories internationally.

It was this environment that future US President George Herbert Walker Bush was imprinted and, as we shall see, Prescott's son unwaveringly took his scepter and meted out a place in the world for himself that would eventually overshadow the shadow cast by his fathers.
