They even tazed him while handcuffed.

Imagine how effective protests against Veitnam would have been if a tazer had been in use. Think about how effective a tazer would have been at stopping various the various unions from fighting for the rights we enjoy? Think about Rosa Parks being tazed and hauled off the bus like some animal?

Yeah it might make them a martyr. Most likely it just gets them out of the way.
